DCM (Decore & Cutting Machine) ‘s 6th Generation Machine series ensures fast, efficient, and gentle removal of the product’s core in an automated way. (Formerly known as Cabro), it is capable of handling up to 120 crops per minute! (Single Lane 60 cpm).
Easy decor products include Iceberg salad, butterhead salad, lettuce, leafy vegetables, broccoli and cauliflower florets, which are also available.
The machine is controlled by a Siemens PLC and is powered by an intuitive HMI touchscreen. The touch screen provides clear instructions to the operator, assisting them with the program changes needed when switching to different products. The DCM series is designed to be easy to clean and easily accessible for maintenance. Additionally, a cutting/dividing unit is positioned behind the cutting/de-coring head, which allows the product to be divided into 2, 4, 6, or 8 pieces, depending on which dividing knife is used.
- The machine is entirely constructed of SS and food-grade products.
- Switching to different products is easily achieved by quick release systems and program selection at the Siemens HMI-touch screen.
